My truck has not been shipped yet still stuck in a yard with thousands of other vehicles :( Links, lets see some pics, and how is the new ride??

RON

Sorry, been EXTREMELY busy trying to build my new welding unit, now I've got to go out of town tomorrow for work and wont be back till after the long weekend, I'll try to post pics next week. The truck is awesome, couldn't be happier, it rides smooth (very easy to speed), impressive steady hard acceleration (not snappy like the 6.0 L) steady is what i like better, the interior is also awesome. Im very happy with it so far. I haven't even emptied a tank of fuel so i cant give a accurate MPG but the computer says at 110 Km/h its getting 16 MPG as soon as i go to 120-130 it drops drastically to 10 MPG, I realize it should get better the more miles i put on it, lets face it though, the more power, the worse mileage. I purchased an ipod which connects to the truck stereo which works amazingly, I highly recommend the ipod for people who like their music, I've got about 400 songs on the thing which organizes it all for you, Ron if you ordered the premium stereo package you're going to get a sub whoofer under the back seat which pounds the bass out pretty well (not like when i was 16 yrs. old, but pretty good, if that interests you!) The fold down step on the tailgate is going to be the envy of the truck world, People are more interested in seeing that then , say, looking under the hood. Anyways , I'll get the pics as soon as i can. Cheers!

I quickly went out to take pictures and tried to upload, but realized my files are way to big, not sure how to shrink them, I will have to figure that out next week.

I finally figured out how to upload the pictures of my new truck (thanks to Ron and Tekim for the link) Its in the members photo gallery if interested.
I also have a story to tell. Thursday I got asked to do some welding on a brand new 2008 F350 service body truck by my boss, you should know i build rigs not trucks, so as a favour i said yes. The truck rolls into the yard with another vehicle. I meet the guy from the truck and he shows me a factory defect in the frame of the truck on the bottom flange right dead center of the truck( the worst possible spot to have a crack!!) and asks me if i could weld it, i normally would have said no(for liability reasons), but, three guys hop out of the other vehicle and one is a Ford engineer straight from Kentucky(brought here just to solve this problem), the other is a Top dog from the dealer the truck came from and the other guy is a representative I believe. So this engineer had a procedure for me which is whats needed in this case so i welded it up and fish plated it. Got one free oil change out of the deal which isn't to bad for 1/2 hours work considering they're over $100. Got to mingle with some Ford big wigs and got paid for it aswell, not to bad of a day. The first thing i did when i got home was check my new 2008 F350 frame for any cracks, lol.

My cheek muscles hurt from smiling the whole time I'm driving my truck. Does this count as a 2008 Super Duty problem?:D:D:D

Ha...I wish. That would be figgin' awesome to see. Imagine sitting beside a little rice burner at a redlight, your truck goes into regen mode, then flames shootout your tailpipe and melt the big useless "fast and furious" rear spoiler off.:PDT_hah:
