I have a 2007 rev put a new motor in it last year was good for 200km then baseplate started leaking coolant so I sent it back in for warranty . Well after a trip to the mountains it's still leaking , I can see where it's leaking , my question is I'm sick if having the motor pulled out back in out . Would a little stop leak be ok to put in there

It's the 800r motor
id post photo but not sure how off my phone

no it won't work. have to replac the gasket. some of the passage way are so sall in the engie that the stop leak might even restrict them. seem odd to only get 200 k if it was replaced?

Ask them how they checked them. If everything is true and the gasket is good, bolts torqued properly then it shouldn't leak.

There is a vent hole that leaks if the coolant gets past the water pump seal... it's in the lower case

sent while I should be drinking tea's

Did who ever done it last use a sealant with the gasket? I've seen that numerous times and the silicone or flange sealant leaks out from the gasket. Something definitely not right.
