2007 800r Idle problem

Fuel screws are on the motor side of the carb slide, air screws are on the airbox side of the carb slide.

Most four strokes have fuel screws, most 2 strokes have air screws. The adjustments are completely opposite for the two types so its best to know what you've got before you start adjusting..... ;)

My 2007 Renegade 800 PTEK does the same thing. Idles very high for about a minute or so and then comes down on it's own. Sometimes giving the throttle a quick hit will bring it down also.
I just thought they were all like that, cause mine has been since new. Never gave me a seconds grief though.

yes but yours is a 800ho ptek and not a 800r ptek.... very different set up...
yes yours has the lean idle-mid problem.... have heard of some guys with older ones puting in 800r needles
