i put in spi pistons this fall... so far so good.

came with all the gaskets, just had to buy the caged bearings

all for a reasonable price

mountain magic has replated sets for 800.

If you send mountain magic your jug and it can be replated you get $300 or so off the new one.

well does any body got a tip for re installing the wrist pin bearings with out dropping this needles? droped one in the case but fished it out with a magnet

yah your supposed to buy caged wrist pin bearings. no one actually reuses those needle bearings.

but if you have to reuse those ones then use VASOLINE or.... THICK GREASE to hold them in place

Hey Brad,if you go on the Doo-talk site,go to rev-mountain sleds,use the search function,type in cageless wrist pin bearings. You will get many tips on how to install the cageless bearings.

we used the vasiline method and heated the piston until we were ready to put it on

heated what part of the piston? like where the pin goes in?

the piston it self, just et it on top of the wood stove for a bit, just so the pin slides in easy
