2006 rt1000 head O ring failure

Last weekend I had the PTO side head o ring fail and fill the cylinder with gylcol well running. Is it possible to damage crank with a sudden stop like that. The piston and cylinders look OK . Any advice would be welcome

Just did mine...... That happened once to me......... No crank damage

mine actually had a nick in the surface between the cylinder and coolant port, and i had it welded up and resurfaced and it is holding well.....

Thanks - that makes me feel alot better about putting it back together. The o rings all looked alright but the head bolts didn,t seem very tight on that side. Hoping new o rings will do the trick
