Hello,
Just wondering if any one has changed from the stock air box to custom filter set up? what did you use uni or k&N ? any part ## or advice would be great. I just bought this sled with a blown engine and it appears that it got dusted from the belt dust.
Thanks

Brother and I have both installed Kickass Filters from Mountain Magic with K&N Snofilter socks over them. I havent run mine yet but his seems to work well.

You will need to relocate the two sensors also.

I installed the uni-filters last year, got them from rec supply in Saskatoon. Can't remember part #'s, possibly # uni-4246? Installed them in the airbox. Works well except one time in deep powder at -26 C they got covered in snow and restricted airflow, but at least I got to see how much snow the filters stopped. The airbox ended up 1/4 full with snow even with slp fabric over the intake. There is a thread on doo-talk on the mach forum on how to install them. Would recommend covering them with the snow eliminating fabric. If I did it again, I would make the set-up the same as the Timbersled one to get rid of the two airboxes.
