2003 summit 700

hey folk i have a 2003 summit 700 my oil light keeps comming on intermitanly has any on ever had this trouble before the wife road around 40 miles the other day at a ralley never hurt any thing this is good checked out the wire it seams good any help would be greatly apreciated

it's just a light as long as u have oil in the tank and it's burning oil ur fine. I just replaced my oil tank and the float is stuck so my oil light is on too! to much work to change the sensor unless u gotta take out the oil tank anyway.
