Ok, stupid question but i have to ask!
I just bot this bike and i am in the process of changing fluids in it and tearing it down cleaning everything up.
So i wanted todo a oil change to it.... i know there is a tank at the top with a dip stick but how do you check the oil in the engine? does it have a orfice in the tank to regulate how much oil goes to the engine? there is no sight class on this bike and the manual i got with it sucks!

How i was kinda told how todo it is put 1250cc of oil into the engine and its full and top up the tank as needed?

Cheers, Mike

To empty the oil there is a drain plug under the engine take it out and the oil will drain... Puttin oil back in u need to put the drain plug back... and add oil through th dipstik (it's black)... Some bikes have a screw on the casing that u need to take out when filling and when u notice oil seeps out of it u knw that u need to stop and put back the screw...

Hope this helps...

thanks for the advice... but do you own one of these bike? lol the oil tank is in the frame and you check the oil at the top of the frame right infront the fuel tank...
manual says to put a certain amount of oil directly into the crankcase and top off oil res. as needed. But my manual sucks i gotta buy a cylmer manual!
Thats why i ask the question i want to know how other people do it that ride these bikes
Cheers,Mike
