I replaced my plugs at the start of the days yesterday as I couldn’t get my sled to start to come off my deck. I had to give it about 1/4 throttle while pulling.

During the day sometimes it would start fine other times did have to give it a bit of throttle to run. In some instances it would start but the gauge wouldn’t turn on till I gave it a bit of gas.

The plugs looked ok to me, I also made sure to click the boots back on. Do the plug wires themselves every require replacing?

I imagine if I took them off the coil I could check for resistance, anyone know what that # would be?

How’s the compression? Might be worth checking. Low compression can cause hard starting issues, I’ve seen it multiple times.

I’ll have to source a tester and check this weekend

I did add some dielectric grease to the plugs when I changed them out at the beginning of the season. I’m starting to think some got on the plug wire cap. Could I spray some brake clean in the plug cap to clean the connection and blow it out ?
