I am running a rigid light off the 12 v accessory plug on my axys. Last ride out the light stopped working. (It’s the skinz headlight kit)

I checked the fuse (a 15A, not sure why the fuses it so large) and it was fine, the fuse tap itself however had a dark/burnt terminal. There was no continuity between the ‘burnt’ terminal and feed coming into it.

I jumpered the light with a battery, all is well there.

On the sled itself I am not getting 12v at that accessory plug, is there a fuse somewhere for that plug? I tried googling but couldn’t really find any schematics

thanks in advance for the help!

figured out it’s a 2amp mini fuse in the black bag by primary, hope that helps anyone who runs into the same situation

Wonder if that's the same one for my skinz lever that doesn't get hot.

Mines an 850. The fuse is in the box. I tested power yesterday and it was a 14v. Lever was 14.7 ohm resistance. It only warmed up to a couple degrees yesturday in the shop. Out riding you can't even tell it was heated at all. Hand warmers you can barely hold your hand on and the lever won't even warm up a cold bare finger in the shop. Most complaints I've seen is it to hot and you can't shut it off. Skinz told me to send it back when I asked if there were any tests I could do. Guess its going back for them to look at it.

yea, I’d do that. Unfortunately skinz qa/qc seems to be non existent these days.
