2 place enclosed

Thinking of downsizing to a 2 place enclosed. What’s a decent aluminum trailer?
Anyone tow a 2 place and a deck for 3/4 sleds in total?

I see pace makes an aluminum version of the whiteout. (Not aluminum in pictures)

Or snopro makes a nice drive through

Or the the hybrid style

I have a Mission 14 FT like that black one, can get 3 sleds in it all 165s and have deck on my truck. Trailer works awesome for my needs and light enough to turn around by hand if need be. I dont go far with three in it as i am right at or a little over the axle rating. Even for 2 sleds i would go 14 as the 12 doesnt leave any wiggle room. Also found the ones with the door in the front too heavy to manhandle if needed.
So far the Mission has been good to me.

I have one of those hybrid models made by Alcom. On the 4-5th year and still solid.. I believe the floor is 12ft and the nose curves forward, so the 155's fit in easily. Works great, light weight. I've since fixed up the inside with foam insulation, wall board, hangers, etc.

I bought a Snopro 7.5 X 16' a couple years ago. It was built with extra height for a side by side. Tows nicely and can fit two sleds on a deck with plenty of clearance. The only thing I would change is bigger axles. The trailer comes with dinky 2200lb axles.

what is the interior height on these?

The Alcom hybrid interior height is 64".
Has a 3500# torsion style axle with 13" tires

Undersized axles are such a common problem….

We looked at a few new enclosed trailers a few days ago and there the cheapest junk I've ever seen...

Lite iron frames
Pizz poor welds
Waffer thin tin walls
Roof ribs and sheeting that won't stand up too snow load or ripping down the hwy at 87 mpr...
Cheap @zz tires and garbage rims...

The piant on the rims and frames is junk...

The best units We spotted are the quality aluminum trailers,,, but even they are cheaping out by putting partical board down on the floor...

I guess that properly treated ply-wood isn't good enough...

Junk junk junk...

The bare minimum too sell trailers that will buckle going down the road,,, wall ribs that are crooked,,, garbage flip down doors with cheap quality hinges...

And exposed wiring that will chaff and short out before years end...

Don't add wire harness clips too hold the wires secure going down the road


Look out the rear view mirror's too see rubber-,chicken trailer flopping around in the wind or over frost heives and wash board roads...

Nope,,, it ain't worth Our dime buying garbage,,, a pig with lipstick is still a pig...

Save your money and buy quality,,, at the end of the day your investment will holds its value (so long as its looked after)

Gear oil / diesel fuel spray after each trip too the mountains or on salt or Calcium chloride winter highways...

Aluminum trailers oxidize in that crap...

Leave 6" to 8" of the lower rails un-installed so a person can spray those welds too prevent them from rotting off the main rails there welded too...

3 new trailers we looked at had buckled wall pannels,,, the sales guy said they will straighten out if the trailer not sitting in the sun...

Modifying this trailer to suit my needs. I can post what I’m doing if people or interested. It’s a 2021 pace whiteout. Same as the grey one I posted at the beginning.

I got a vevor few weeks ago and it's been running full time in my Green house until Saturday. Going into the enclosed now. No issues

Mine is 4-5 years old its a red one 5000kw self contained unit. It was flawless the first year when the trailer was not insulated. Second year we insulated the trailer and had it shutting down on hit temp all the time, increased the fan speed and that seemed to solve that issue. I should have installed a roof vent in my trailer that may have helped. Trailer is a 6 x 12 + 1.5 ft vee leave the sleds and all the gear in there it dries everything out nightly no problem.
