2 interchange questions

i just bought a 08 m1000, im curious if the 09 m8 airbox is the same?
also will the adjustable steering post bolt right on??

many of us are getting rid of the adj posts because they're weak & they snap instead of bending, if you want one I'll sell you one with a brand new bottom 1/2 (the part that snaps)

I was gonna go with the adjustable steering post, but after putting on the taller seat I find I probably don't need the adjustability any more. Bars are just fine sitting or standing right where they are.
