Had radios but couldn't hear them, there was a text we received at 3 am tell us where they were which was where we thought they were they went down towards the door river and couldn't get back up. But guys were picked up with chopper today around 10:15 everyone's ok, thanks a lot to the search and rescue here in mcbride, would have been a lot worse without those guys. Thanks to the heli that came from valemount today and for sandman inn for getting us rooms last night last notice.

The guys ditched there sleds and fire around 1 am and started hiking up the hill they got up the next ridge and kept hiking until they were found this morning. They were high enough on the ridge it was possible to see them waving, they had there avy bag pulled which made it really easy to see them

we were able to land about 100 yards or so from them on the side of the gully. they were where rod and I said they would be. all is well.

LOOK at those two pretty faces in yellow. Barry and Rod, these 2 guys are always there when needed. GOOd job guys....... And to the 2 sledders...... You are not the first or last that have taken that route. Glad to see your O.K.
