got an 03 800ho summit with dyna port pipe (single). Question is this do you need to rejet when installing two 2" flow rights? elevation 3200' to 8500' were we ride.

You should be okay. I put on a lexan hood and used the spot where the guages were to make a much bigger air inlet. I did not have to rejet mine. The DPM is a great system.

Thxs. Can you still get lexan hoods for these machines?

I really don't know. I got mine at the Edmonton sled show and can't remember the name of the shop. They said I got the last one and they were not bringing in any more for the "vintage" sleds. It is a Mountain Fit hood and I am happy with it. There must still be some outfits making them for the old iron. It sure saves a lot of weight if you don't run gauges or lights.

If you are taking in the hood, no problem. If you are putting them in the air box...thats a different deal

Yup... good point from someone that knows what they are talking about...

PS Mountain fit hoods or BR Tech should have what you are looking for in regards to a light weight hood
