The stock bars on my Outty suck, they are too low. Has anyone put aftermarket bars or a riser on theirs? How does it look? work? I hate to give up the factory handgaurds, but I have a black set of Powermadd gaurds I could use. I just worry that sometimes the aftermarket stuff kinda junks up a quad.

I just posted this on your other thread:

I use a Rox 2" bar riser with Pro Taper atv hi bars with a set of Mad hand guards. The bar riser is around a $100. Works perfect and is tough as hell. Most accessory shops carry the Rox.
I'll try and find a picture of my set up.

You can get a 2" riser for $60 from Landon at Snowmobile Recyclers in Carstairs. It does make it a little harder to steer.

I think I will do the same. I have seen a few distant pics of your bars on the outty, and think it looks good. There are a few reasons for installing taller bars...like trying to get your key in the ignition with the bar turned. lol

makes it real easy for getting at your air filter also... Ya I looked and can't seem to find any pictures of my set up for you. I can tell you that it works real well for my "standup" style. I ride aggressive. I've had this same set up on my last Outty and It will be on my next as well. Cheerz
