Helmet, boots, jacket and pants. I know guys that have forgotten all of those things on various trips.

I say remember your sled, riding gear, and any medication you might be on for sure. The rest you should be able to buy 9hrs away. I have heard of people forgetting their sled, believe it or not. Maybe I should suggest, load your own sled and never trust your "friends" to do it for you. :)

hopefully will remember sleds, my son went skiing with "the guys" and got to the mountain with only his board and skipants, we had to buy or rent the rest!

hence the previous comment .......VISA dont leave home with out it. Have a safe trip and bring a camera with a large memory card and batteries! Would not want to have any memories of your first trip to the mountains. Enjoy!

Don't forget your camera. cause if something awesome happens, and you don't have it you won't have any proof. therefore no bragging rights

Spare Gas Can with Gas. Food, water, matches, TP (fire starter and ass wipe) just incase you find yourself spending the night on the mountain. Assortment of tools to make basic repairs on your sled. A good spare belt, Two way radio. Duct Tape always comes in handy. If you have room a Crazy Carpet is a good thing to have if you ever have to tow a sled back to the truck.

The list is endless. Have fun and ride safe.

Go with someone who knows the mtn. If you are riding solo join a group. Most dudes I meat in mtn are all good peeps. It is a better ride when people show you the cool spots. Extra goggles for the ride back preferably yellow tint. Nothing worse than foggy goggles and blowing snow when she gets dark out. And of coarse a beer for the way home. Best gadamn beer you will ever have.
