1973 muffler

would anyone know if there is an update to the 1973 Cheetah mufflers. They sure seem louder than I remember. Is there any way I can have it change the sound level?

check the bolts on the y pipe / springs maybe the muffler is rotten needs replacing

Sounds like u got a rotten pipe or ur stock stuffing is warned out and no longer is valid to use....

I have found the joint between the muffler and the header pipe is leaking real bad and iam putting a new style coupling with a donut ring in it
