Wow this thread brings back memories
We had a brand new 200E Snowcruiser,
back when I was about 10 that was over 50 ago.
First sled I drove and first sled I wrecked.
We used to get cover with oil and gas from the carburetor.

My grandfather’s ’64 cruiser was the first sled I ever rode. It was probably 25 years old first time I got on it. Brake was not so good and when the throttle linkage broke off it stayed at wot and I was doing laps around the pasture for quite awhile before my dad caught me and steered it into a drift where it got stuck. Only way to shut it off was pop the hood and ground the plug. Good times.

our first sled was an early 70's Johnson Reveler 30. exactly like the one below. Opposed twin OMC engine.

what was the relationship between snow cruiser, johnson and evinrude back then? i've seen same body styles, different paint schemes and different engines from all three. Different manufacturing plants?

ok. pretty wild with the motor options across the three.

good to see they offered more than just bold new graphics between the brands

Man... the hours we put on the Snow Cruiser at the farm as kids. A lot of laughs, tons of fun.

Thanks for bringing back the memories!
