I always believed the joy of a hotrod was building it yourself, not buying somebody else's blood sweat and tears. When I work on my own stuff, its for the enjoyment and experience. When it comes time to sell, your best to understand your hours of work were for yourself.

If we can look at them....... they aren't selling either now are they?

Pull the engine, dump some junker 350 into it and let it go cheap. That's the only way it will sell quicker...... Otherwise it's a try of patience.

But then don't try and sell the 350 you had in it on it's own either. Personal experience again shows you have to give it away. I will let my 408 big block rot in the ground before I give it to some clown for a fraction of it's cost. I tire of giving others good deals, lol.

Im going to ask this question because i think it needs to be asked. Why is it that the general public figures people should next to give these toys away. Absolutely no appreciation for the WORK it actually takes and the time that has gone into something like this. And dont come back to me with " Oh yes i know what it takes" with offers like these you have not a clue period.
Very nice ride Deano, but it takes the "right buyer". Speaking from personal experience, I litterally gave away a numbers matching, original sheet metal TransAm pace car with 63,000 miles on it with full documentation & original bill of sale, build sheet, etc that had a full restoration (including powertrain) with 518 miles on it after restoration for $10K. Car was appraised at $28,000, but no chance in seeing that kind of money for it. Worst part is I sold it due to lack of garage space...I feel your pain.
