Great way to compare. Each taking their own line in fresh snow on a hill you can't climb over. Turbo and longer track helps though.

That winder was also my machine and I will tell you all as a 100% fact, it would kill my doo all day long, not even comparable but all of the handling aspects of this doo more than make up for it, I feel much more confident in my riding forsure and its kinda nice not to be abke to make every hill. I had sellers remorse for the first 3 days on this machine and now at day 7 I wouldnt trade for nothing. I also want to clarify that I have done some clutching and gearing mixed with a little suspension work which has all been a great benefit to this sled, doo laid rant over!!!!!!

Maybe the power loss at altitude is actually a myth?? This is video proof of N/A sled holding its own against a turbo sled. Wtf? I had a friend tell me He watched a Cat whoop a 2021 turbo doo also last week. Man, I would be some choked if I bought a 22k ( or 35k depending where you got it lmao) Factory turbo Doo, only to get my ass handed to me by a N/A sled. Granted theres alot of variables, but still.

You need to watch the video again, I went all the way up the hill pretty much straight up and the other 2 sleds went halfway, hundreds of feet difference, the alpha is impressive as it is really close to the 850 Polaris turbo but in the Polaris defense, it is in much need of a rear shock or something as it just wheelies and takes all it's momentum away, we drag raced on hardback and that Polaris did much better, probably have to admit that its faster on a long pull. Niners Alpha is far from stock and puts a whooping on a lot of sleds, super impressive for an 800, don't put money on a race unless you are prepared to loose it ha ha. These boys also have some future tricks coming that will soon put my doo in its place, I gotta take the win while I can cuz I think it will be short lived.

Also Im not sure the specifics on the other part of my comment, with a NA cat spanking a Turbo doo. Track size plays alot into it. Those Cats do run pretty strong in my experience.

The Alpha is the lightest sled of the three, the Alpha rider is lighter than the Axys rider. The Alpha lockout shock works amazing when climbing compared to the polaris rear skid. Other hills the polaris is way faster. Short and steep hills the Alpha is in the mix and longer pulls the turbos pull away. The 175 doo is in a different league when it comes to climbing. But the 165’s are the funnest sleds on the hill for a full day of riding. My turbo 174 doesn’t see the snow very much anymore. All three of us ride each other’s sled during a weekend and like something about each sled. I have to say Paul’s doo is the first one I really like to ride and I think his lower bar setup is amazing.

Parked at turbo hill Friday, doo turbo was definitely the winner for stockish machines there, thinking factory boost is like 8lbs aftermarket lol.
