174 extension, drivers ?

extending my track from 162 to a 174X16 with 3 inch paddles. i have a dropped and rolled avid chaincase, just wondering what the best/toughest set of drivers would be and how many teeth, 8 ???

avid tooth drivers is what I would run. There is some controversy about 7 tooth drivers and 3 inch tracks, as some people say the the tighter bend that the track has to make on the 7 tooths causes track failure. With the drop and roll you should have lots of room to run 8s so thats the route I would go especially being boosted. I would also took at a set of iceage rails, they are a great well built rails.

how about mountain magic drivers, ive heard from a few ppl that they are beefier then avid ???
