Yea, I just got a ford F-250 7.3 turbo diesel short box with an 8 inch lift, it is a beast. I just got back from lunch, and some woman was near the front of it, I started it up and she jumped in the air because of how load it is, and she started yelling " DID YOU NOT SEE ME BESIDE YOUR TRUCK!!!", and yelling obscenities at me, lol ( Lunatic British lady ). I put the window down and said "Ohhhhh sorry, I wasn't aware I'm not allowed to start it whilst someone is standing near it" hahahaha.
Anyways, Currently running 33's on it ( because of the height of lift, 33's look a little small ), but will be upgrading to 37's this week. What tire are you running man? I'm trying to figure out the best 37 snow tire.
Also looking into a sled deck possibly, but with the lift and tires... I'm thinking that it may not even be possible unless it's lowered down.
The biggest thing about putting a long sled in the back of a short bed pickup is that puts alot of stress on the tailgate and could possible bend it, or break the little cables that hold the tailgate. Other than that the law is still the same for a overhanging load.
