With a 163 in a 6 foot box, your track will hang over about 2 feet. Which in Alberta, isn't a big deal. Not sure about B.C though.

because of a fuel tank i only have 4 feet of box plus endgate so my 162 wouldn't even stay in the box so i made one of these to my own dimensions they are available from cabbalas for $119us.

I had a 162 M7 on my truck yesterday, that deck is 7'9" and it barely was on.

wow that hangs out there, have to be cautious driving up on the deck, that rear window comes up fast. some of these guys with a 6 to 6.5 deck must have balls of steel, or 1 friggin long ramp.

Thats it if you can stop it with out landing on the roof of your truck, and balance it there you can haul it, and then put some 33's on your truck and see how steep that the ramp is, Good Luck! it can be done just make sure someone there to hold your beer!

I put my Kingcat into the 5.5 box on my F-150. With the tailgate down it hangs out 6 inches over BC law. With a light plugged into trailer connector then clipped to the track, I will be fine.

i have 6'6" (78") box ,your allowed 1.2m (47.244") to overhang past the lights in BC,so overall length i'd be good for 125.244",my RMK Assault 155 overall length is 129"..So that being said i add the 8ft (96") deck and lose 2" because the of the headache rack, when i have the sled up on the deck now i'll be over by 5.75".Meaning in BC i'll have to flag during the day and have a light on the sled at night....Over by less than 6" what a pain in the azz, best way is having a long box so that's what i'll be considering next.

your allowed 1.2m (47.244" )from your tail lights and with a 5.5 (66")box you are sticking a long way out there, they don't care in the tailgate is down or not it's 1.2m from tail lights,King Cat is 132" overall length...Maximum length your allowed with without a light is 113.244",so flagged during the day and a light at night. From what i've read this is the correct way.
