Yes, big difference from stock. Its hard to keep the skis down in a climb is about the only downfall.

So I have some a questions for anyone who has installed a CE X3 track on a XM.
The outside of the outside lugs are rubbing pretty bad has any one else had this issue? I have installed the older 2 ply camo extremes 3" on a 08 XP and 11XP and never had an issue with rubbing!
Dose the X3 have a slightly taller lug than the older camo extreme 3"?
Is trimming the outside lugs the next step?

the X3 track has paddles brought in 0.5" at the base and 0.75 at the top. The old CE had full width 3". I have done both and the only one that rubbs is the old style on the side of the tunnel
