I dunno... We're having a blast with our 155s. Normally we would have preferred a longer track but these suckers just go and go and go, and float. Everything is fun. If there is a possibility of boosting it go longer though.
i went from a 154 to a 163,,,my next sled is going to be a 154,, funner to ride for me and i can make it go where ever my 163 goes..super long tracks are not nessasary imo...
Handleing wise no difference between the two imo, the 3 foot powder day I left the 155 behind. Very glad I got the 163. I still jump and do every thing a 155 will do.
I have both and there is a noticeable difference in the handling between the 155 and the 163. The 155 is more responsive while carving in powded through trees, and the 155 lifts off easier with ski's in the air over all small lifts when you get on the gas. The 163 is a ski's down sled and still handles great,n the track length is a definite asset on those deep powder days! All n all depends on what you want to do with the sled and where you ride it. The 155 will take you anywhere the 163 will except on a straight up climb, but by only a couple sled lengths.
im talkin doo,, but same ch!t differnt pile,,ive seen 154xp out climb a 163 xp,,3feet powder day in revy..my theory is it had more track speed but might of been something else..point is 155s climb just fine... ither way you will be happy im sure
Good choice!! I debated the same last year when I snowchecked my 163 Pro... Thought I might regret it all summer til I rode it.... It handles great and definitely outclimbs the 155's.. Of course I came off an 08 M1000 so it was not hard to improve on the handling!! IMO.. hahaha
personal preferrence comes to play for this one. gotta ask yourself where do play the most in the trees or highmarking and riding style. i just snowchecked a new pro 155 cause im usaully in trees in siccamoose (cant spell sorry). and ive usaully always manage to make it to the same place 163's go. thats my 2 cents. have fun and play hard with whatever you choose.
