Reeds might be done - gonna put in the shop now and check them
2015 xm 174 TSS centre mount - force turbo reeds - if the stock cages could handle the 12lbs I could probably push 12 all day - it hit rev limiter and was a bit rich - backfired out the pipe and bent the stock cages - but I fixed themwhich sled is this and whose kit is crankin out 12 psi
stock reeds?
Folded the cages in a bit - used the bolt as a reverse press - unscrewed the nut an pressed them back straight - gonna try 11lbs now see if they hold up//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200123/f8c1149846d7438e0f93123dc90773fb.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200123/1cee950ba1ae88762dec010c5647e0a0.jpg
I used the bolt as a reverse press - i put the bolt with the nut inside each block half and turned the nut outwards to lightly bend the reed block into submission and back to its original state - I refuse to assemble the 2 half's together because if the hardware ever came loose - buh bye motor - and especially a boosted xm - that etec shakes worse than Ozzy Osbourne at 8lbs boostnegative there... just drill the bottom side the cages and bolt the cages together. You can use a much smaller bolt as well.
I've got a high elevation clutch kit just with quick clickers the 800 etecs are bad for having issues when they are turbo'd and see a reduction in track load when they are spooled upDo you have a clutch kit in that sled for low sea level because mine keeps kicking in the knock sensor so I increase the main fuel on my xic controller because I'm running the tss turbo to
That's a good question - 1 of em is lagged out for sure - that's a screenshot of my GoPro footage aimed at the gauges - I'm too busy trying not to crash to watch emWhich one of your tachs is reading correctly?
