Anyone else ever had the dream to be able to say that you've ridden your sled for all 12 months out of the year in the mountains? I'm talking about riding on snow, even if it was a short little brap, regardless of how much dirt/snirt you had to encounter to get there.

Best I've done is October (22nd) through to May (14th). Would hope to get out for a June ride this year. I've heard of guys doing Canada Day rides as well as late September rides with freak snow storms. But August????

Pictures appreciated. Keep the dream alive!

October 21 to June 24th for me, This year you might be able too in august there is still a PILE of snow up there. But generally around where i ride ( Valemount,Blue,Mcbride the riding areas are 100% free of snow by Mid july with the exception of some shaded areas. Only way to do it would be if you could access a glacier by road

Here is Chile July 29, 2019. Rained the three days I rode, but turned to snow the morning I left. The group after ours had phenomenal snow!

There was a magazine article on this years ago. Some americans did it. They came to Revy and had a chopper bring them up to a glacier on July 31 and they spent the night. So got two hardest months that way.

We had inquired a few years back about doing the Chile thing, and I wanna say it was like $6-7000Cdn. The chopper idea sounds cool and I bet you’d be half of that for both of you combined. I should try to find that article online... I’m sure it exists somewhere

I've done Harvey (out of Fernie) on the longest day of the year with SnowJunkie82 and ThrottleOps Photography. That got my June ride in. July hasn't happened yet, nor has August. Early September, I think it was the 8th, quite a few years back in Elkford. A quick Brappppp up the logging road after a freak storm that had dumped 12" up top and and maybe 6" in the yard.
