We shall be making it this year! Is there anything I should know/bring? Are dogs permitted on leash in the campground?

I'm still looking around to see what a "good" early bird prize may be..... Once I figure it out I'll be sure to post it here..... may just have to set a budget, because if a Child's ticket gets drawn do I just award the parent? or should the child get it?

How about a winning lottomax ticket?

yes, dogs are permitted on a leash, please clean up after them.

Helmets are mandatory in Alberta now.

Insurance and registration also mandatory.

hangover meds are advised.

Helmets are mandatory on a quad or bike. Not sxs

yes sxs too, just like Dean said. SXS should be even more mandatory then quads... you hit your noggin on that roll bar even if your strapped in and you will not like it! lol ... i guess no different then knocking your noggin off a tree flying off your quad, but again all OHV drivers need to wear a helmet.

Helmets are mandatory on all OHV's, side by sides included.

I hate to say it but Keith isn't wrong..... Side by Sides are exempt..... however they should not be.....

Everyone should be wearing them I agree. I wear mine about 90% in the sxs. On quad or bike I always wear it. But better I bring it up here instead of people being surprised at the jamboree. If one just goes by the law it is not required. You will need it at the jamboree poker run.

Just to clarify some more ..
#1 if you have removed your factory seat belts and replaced them with a harness , you must wear a helmet .
#2 if you have factory seat belts but chose not to wear them you will be ticketed .
#3 it must be a FACTORY cage / not aftermarket in order for this to apply ,
However I doubt any officer would know the difference .

The devil is in the details ....
