My EFI Cat does not like ethanol fuel. It backfires and burps when you shut off the engine . The owners manual ( any make ) should help you on oxygenated fuels or fuels with ethanol . Becareful with ethanol fuel in your 2 stroke .

I don't know what you ride but we have Revs 04,06,07s and have run the 94 for 2 years never had a prob and power seems to be just fine run good, the 07 has the 867 kit and high comp head so he adds VP to his. I have seen some threads here to the contrary but proof is in the puddin.:d:d

My 2010 Cat owners manual says E10 is OK......also goes further and suggests
it may be beneficial in that you wont have to add fuel de icer......

Yet very few folks have anything good to say about it......so
publicly the jury is still out......

However...I think I will try it out....

Takes more fuel to make power with Ethanol. Also you have to jet richer. Probably not for 10% but for some of the stronger blends you have to.

Ethanol is a very powerful solvent, so make sure that you have an inline fuel filter immediately after the tank before the fuel pump. It will dissolve lots of fuel related deposits and send them through the system, possibly causing issues, so filter the fuel before it comes out of the tank to get rid of the largest particles, anything after that you have to just hope that it will go through the system without issues.

If you can, put another filter on the fuel line(s) after the fuel pump, but sometimes this isn't possible.

Yup, ethanol is the biggest mistake ever created in the refining industry! There's really nothing good about it so I don't use Husky fuel one bit. Ask any refining expert or someone with petroleum knowledge and they will all tell you the same. Maybe it won't hurt your engine, but it has very little advantages.
Sorry for rambling, but I don't waste my money on fuel that gives me less performance and worst gas mileage.:twocents:

you can use E10 but have to disconnect a plug in under the hood.Shows a diagram with and without E10

He is right, for Cat EFI anyway, check the sticker on the ECU I think. I have a M7 and ran it once, it seemed to me to run leaner, till I unpluged the proper connection, I think it is also oxygen enriched.

here is some info on husky 94:

my m1000 manual states for efi modeled 2 smokes that oxygenated gas containing up to 10% ethanol or up to 15% MTBE are acceptable gasolines. The manual also states that 87 will let my sled run optimal and that higher octaned fuels will not increase performance... that last part sounds like a caution to me if running 87 and higher like 94.....
