son's 09 800 summit , has very poor spark on mag side. put in new plugs and wires,won't fire until the motor is warm .pto side is fine . i am thinking coil but any thoughts would be appreciated..

switch pto to mag ( same coil for each side ) if the same side has problems check compression.

compression is good in both holes. mag side will barely fire the plug , kind of a weak orange spark below the electrode. both plug wires come out of the same coil no? thanks
Not near my sled to look at the coil - is there just one ground / one power wire for the coils or is there one for each side - very possible coil is shorted to ground. Poor electrical power supply / ground. I believe the coils fire at the same time - odd that one just has good spark - would help having electrical schematic to pinpoint problem .

same coil for each plug. Fires on top and bottom of stroke. changed plug, changed wire. Now change coil!
