Bought a Paragon for 1300 dollars for my rev when I had it. The clutch is sitting in a cardboard box in my garage. DEAD WEIGHT. ENOUGH SAID. There are not that many people running them so not much help in setting it up. It wore out in 100kms and in 300kms again. Had to send it back to Paragon each time. Dont waste your money. Get the TEAM conversion kit or Call Dynamo_joe

What would be your reason for changing from the QRS?

I would wonder the same. at least try it out in the snow before dropping a bunch of cash, my Doo friend says the '09 XP's will shred right out of the box this year. they changed a lot of specs in the clutching and offered to retrofit my sled. I'll wait until I run mine against a few '09 Summits before I take him up on it......c'mon snow. :d

I talk with a guy in colarado that is running them he claimed a 30 percent performance gain he also said he was getting 3500 miles out of a belt moutain riding and much cooler belt temp.I ran a modified artic cat roller secondary on my 2000 700 summit and was very happy with it compaired to the stock clutch.I thought that I will end up doing performance upgrade just as well do them now as wait.also thinking about a cpi single pipe to drop 15 pounds.and some boysen reed to crisp up the throttle response.

the areas I ride in BC, 3500 miles out of a belt is unheard of. it would take me over 3 seasons to put that kind of mileage on in the mountains. with the stock 166 belts I was getting around 50 miles each until I got the clutching and gearing dialed in, then switched to a 288 belt from the 600RS race sled. got 250 miles on the 288 before replacing it with the 377 when they became available. the 288 still looks new, as does the 377 with 500 miles on it now. all miles were deep powder WOT with the exception of the trails into the alpine and a few miles of testing in the field at home.

here is my sled after mods, engine and suspension limiter strap settings are stock. MBRP can is the only add on to the engine bay. the thing climbs like a goat, funnest sled I've ever owned.
