buddy has chance to p/u 09 summit x (was spring order 08) with 3200 kms on it sled looks real clean no scratches nice lookin machine is at brp dealer for $8999 warranty good till end of november....sooo.......input? good deal??? is it gonna blow up in 3 month??(need all you guyz fortrune tellin skills..) what you all think.........im sure there is already thread on this but this seems easier cheers Brian

price is good seems like a lot of kilometers for one season given last was not a grat snow year should be able to buy extended warrenty on that sled if it is a concern

I have not heard of any problems as far as engine wise, is a little high kms but I would work them a bit more on the price. Wait a couple weeks there will more showing up for sale with less than a 1000 kms for maybe $9500.00

I wouldn't take it unless it's got at least a year of warranty. It's already due for new pistons.

its a demo sled ?way to much$.just picked up a 08 with a new warrenty motor ,gas can,stinger,sticker kit ,scratchers,tunnel stiffiners,vent kit and all 09 upgrades to clutches for 6500,cash talks...

way to much money just seen 09 limited edition xp 163 with 63 km for sale for $9000 and a couple of used 08-09 for $7500 in the grande prairie area.

My 09 has been great so far,thats alot of Ks though,maybe trail riddin only?Buy the look of the prices you guys are talkin I should have bought used,mine is the 50th anniversary one with every option except electric start,it was 12900 plus taxes,love the sled though.

I was suposed to get a leather coat with it but still hasnt showed up,finnally got the rebate last month,I bought it last November so it took awhile and many calls to the dealer,but I want my coat,startin to get p*ssed off,anyone else waitin for or got theres yet?

thanx all for the input dealer did drop drawers on price a fair bit and he wangled a can and skidplate made it affordable enuff to get extra year warranty on engine it was a trail ridden sled so he picks it up at 1:00pm today it is the sled he wanted and is happy with the initial purchase....now we will see how he likes it on the mountain

I bought at Courtney Motersports.its the only Skidoo dealer on the island,so it was that or take the ferry which costs a small fortune to get off this rock.I understand they have to sell for alittle more because of the location and they dont sell aton of sleds here but they could atleast give me what they promised.This is the second new sled I bought from them and the service has been great till this,they tell me its the BC rep thats droppin the ball,she said she sent one but I never got it,not my problem just get me my jacket and Ill be happy again. HAPPY HALLOWEEN

scrambled it take me about 2 month before my jacket but don't worry you gonna recieve it and it look really nice!!!!!
