09 summit xp pissing me off....

can any one tell me what could be wrong ......when at full throtle some times but not all the time.....i get an rpm blip that repeats it self untill i let off of the throtle...max rev is 8100 tac

sounds like your hitting the limiter, but if you are then your tac isnt reading accurately

Try clicker down and see if it goes away. I had this with my 08 and 09 xp. Tac is probably wrong.

water in the gas?? Try draining it out, we had this happen to two sleds this weekend.

Had same problem with 08, got same advice, new plugs and turn down clickers. Paid the big bucks at ski-doo to discover i had a bad throttle position sensor, $400 later all was well. For an extra $800 they through in 09 clutch parts as the 08 with 480km had a :beer:worn out clutch.

Wow, sounds like it could be one of a bunch of things!. Hope it's an easy (and cheap) fix:beer:

have had similar problems, could be tach out of wack and hitting rev limiter, can also be carbon arc between plugs and plug cap( don't try to over push down on plug cap ). But more than likely you have sucked a little snow into the carbs, try turning your carb heaters on for a while, as it will thaw any moisture in the carbs. Sounds like something simple, and i'd try the carb heaters first as this is what they are for.
