Anyone know what could be the issue when I go in reverse bunch of noise sounds like burning the belt off or like a chain slapping/grinding. Belt as new so not the issues. Once it does it won't back up and does it again for couple seconds when go back forward

Time to pull the secondary off, and pop the outer case on your diamond drive.

I had the race on that cheap Chinese bearing go when I jumped it, I limped it all the way out of forester as nice as I could and opened it up the next morning. Managed to save the diamond drive before there way hardly any damage other then a couple chipped teeth. Bdx has a fix kit for the bearings. But by the sounds of it, it might need just a used unit if it's grinding like that.l and squeaking the belt.

Check if your sliders are catching on track clips on the rear of the skid when in reverse. May need to trim them.

When your in reverse your secondary could also be sticking open causing the belt to slip. I had that happen on my old 09 M8. Go in reverse and when it starts grinding, stop and have a look at the clutches. If the secondary is not stuck open then your diamond drive bearings are on the way out. There used to be a thread on how to change the bearing on here. its very detailed.
