Just got a new 09 that was sitting at the dealer m8 162 sno pro - Its got a black with organge dot primary spring and 75 gr weights - at 10000 ft I'm only getting 7600 rpm and the thing is a dog, but at 7000ft It's at 7800 rpm- What is the trick setup so I can change weights easily and keep it up at 7900-8000

I had an xp and the clickers were a sweet setup so I could change the weights depending on where I was riding and keep the rpms exactly where they needed to be to get the most power in less than 3 minutes on the trail- no way I'm going to tear down a clutch everytime I go to a different elevation.

What are you cat guys doing to keep them in the proper rpm's?

Adjustable weights...Dalton and Culter work good as you don't have to remove the weights to adjust. (75g are stock up to 6,000 ft....73g 6,000-9,000 ft. with a white/yellow spring)

I run the dalton ajustables they work great, 73g-81g adjustability. Easy to add or lose weight on the fly all you need is the allen wrench.I run around 8000rpm but thats cause the slp pipe I have.
