Hey there - I'm looking for some guidance with my Cf 1000. Is there any easy way to remove the throttle bodies? I got them out but it took alot more force and prying then I would have liked. As well, does anyone know it the oil tank will come out/go in with the throttle bodies in? Finally, I'm looking at a y-pipe for it and wonder if anyone has any recommendations(d&d, speedwerx, etc) and do I need a fuel controller. I mainly ride at low elevation(sorry) but can't seem to find concrete answers on whether or not the 09 1000 needs it. Hope you guys can help!

If you run a y-pipe and can you only need a different fuel regulater. If you run y-pipe ,pipe and can then a fuel controller is needed. I run a full D&D ceramic exhaust and a fuel controller. You need to add fuel for this and also be able to subtract fuel. I run mostly around 1200 to 1400 ft.

Thanks for the input guys. Makes me feel better about adding the y-pipe for now without the controller. SRX Dude, when you say the fuel regulator do you mean the fuel pressure? If so, I'm assuming I'm looking at increasing the fuel pressure. Do you know who carries them? i think D&D might but not sure.

yes D&D does. Phone Dons speed parts also. Or T&T in boneyville. Those two dealers can help you out for sure. Have fun these sleds rock with very little modification. Sorry didn't look where you were from. But yes D&D can help you out for sure.
