This was posted on another forum and I though It should be shared for those that have 09 XP's First paragraph is not my wording, posted by someone in revy.
Had a new XP in the shop today with a seizing sliding half. First day out the clutch would shift up and seize solid with the belt half way up the sheave. Customer said if he let it cool down he would hear a bang and the clutch would open up. We had a hard time getting the half off and never could get it back on , this bushing was way out of spec right from the get go. How could have BRP let this get by them and is any one else seen this????
You would think after the last 2 years of clutch problems they should be paying closer attention.

Now I went out the shop today and checked mine as well (I have video of this happening as well) Had it on the stand and after the engine warmed up I took the engine up to shift rpm and when the engine was going back down to Idle the clutch didn't appear to be opening back up so I hit the brake and the engine stalled, about 1 min later the primary opened back with a bang, And it does this every time I open the throttle.
not even a mile on the sled and it had to go in for warrenty work already.
What thew heck is going on in Que!!
