has anyone tryed to change there team helex secondary spring , my sled wont hold the 8350 rpm when climbing , just wondering what spring i should try

don't change the spring add new weights and change the gearing did that to mine and stays at 8250 on all hard pulls dealer can do it for you worth it you will notice the difference

changed the gears to 19 and 42 put in 10-62 weights highriver polaris did it for under 300.00 parts and labor

How long is the track on your sled

its a 155 track i want it to really pull the hill

i havent tried it yet but i changed the gearing to 19/42 62 gram mtx weights with 3 grams in outer hole delrin washer and changed the primary to a blue yellow spring tracks a 155

so far it has been good ive ridden it five times this year but there has been lots of powder. i havent gone with my buddy that i rode with mostly last year when my sled was stock because he always beat me by a bit so when we get out together ill no if its better. i think the gearing was good because it feels alot better. i rode with another guy who just bought a new 800 dragon and wasnt beating me buy much but he is still getting use to it.

Hey Jay how did you make out against the 800? Are you running your set up in the mountains and powder, or flat land pack snow? My bud got a 800 this year, and I have to try to out climb the bitch!:d

yea im trying to set it up for 6000-8000 ft the dragon beat me but didnt make it look to bad i just want to be close because i dont think ill out climb him. will be back in mc bride next week end to play with clutching

what are you engaging at for rpms with the current set up? Are you holding your 8250 for top rpm's?
