08 arctic cat m8

Can anyone advise a newbie on what kind of exhaust system to buy for an 08 m8? Has an mrbp can on it, but I heard they actually make less power than stock can.

the cans are made more for the weight loss and noise,
not so much for making power.
if i was to run a exhaust system i would run
a SLP full system.

Thanx bud. Sorry, still trying to figure out this web site. How do you like your set up? I am looking for HP gains and still keeping good sound. I like it loud. Just bought the m8 yesterday. First snowmobile, did lots of homework and found the cat to be the best sled for money spent. Wanted the hcr, but wife would not agree to spending the money. Gotta start somewhere eh?

run the slp y-pipe and pipe but keep your jaws can if you like it loud,
then just sell the slp can to someone. Next best bet would be some clutching, and intake. more air going out, need more air comming in.
