08 800R Flywheel Removal?

I was wondering if anyone has removed their fly wheel from their primary clutch? Is their a benefit? Less rotating mass? Also mine is extremely stuck. I cannot turn the bolts.If I heat it will I warp or ruin my clutch. Any info would be great.

u gotta hit it with some heat and soften the lock tight then they should come out.I took my ring gear off 2000 kms ago with no issues,it has to b the only steel piece on a xp.

A paint stripper gives enough heat, if you use a torch it won't take much.

I also have been think on pulling of the ring gear. Those that have did you have to change clutching after?
