I put new DS3 skis on my 09xp.

Big improvement over stock.


Might be worth upgrading to a newer ski.

It bolts onto the 2009. Not sure on the 2007. It has different spindles, but might still work. You'd have to look into that.

You can put a newer set of skis on the 07 xrs. I had to replace mine a few years ago and it was not the same style as originally on it. Did not have to do any mods to bolt them up. Think they were the DS2.

Sold the xrs in 17 so cant check which ones they were.

never did the "Carl's Cut" but heard about it lots back then

"Carl's Cut" on DS-2 skis? Anyone?

Was thinking about doing the Carls cut type mod on my DS-2's... Wondering if anyone has cut a set of these. Looking for more aggressive/easier countersteering. Any thoughts?

I have a dead seat and the rear seat trim if you need it. Will need new foam and a cover though. A bear decided to dig into it in Hyder a few years ago and I had swapped it out for a Boss Seat.
