I have an 07 as well and I lost all spark today, had to get towed off the hill. Before I lost spark my sled had no power, was on clicker 6 and could hardly pull 7500 rpm, the tach started doing weird thing and the sled was backfiring at an idle and headlight would get dimmer when you would give it some throttle. My question Is if I had a faulty stator or pickups would that cause me to lose a bunch of Hp? I've been trying to get this sled to work for a while now, just wondering if it could have been a spark problem all along?

my o7 did the same thing last year tothebar mine twisted the crank and engine was out of sinc would run but backfire and bad vibration no warning either hope your luck is better than that

Soooooo, I took it in and I'm told that my dess 'post' is caput! also told not a regular failure item so just my 'bad-luck' I guess. probly a couple hundred bucks incl diagnostics etc but I guess its a lot better than a new motor/stator/crank etc....

Yah had the same thing ran one day then not the next the ski doos are notorious for dead staters and I almost gaurantee that's what it is from the sounds of it
