Might have ice in the carb sucking over the main jet, check the bowls for water and or dirt in them.. A little gas line antifreeze might help it out too.. Just triing to help!!

ok... what is your tra setting at?
what fuel are you putting in it,
has the sled been regeared or rejetted
is there any holes in the intake boots
is the dpm grounded properly
does it start good when it is warm
have someone recreate the syndrome safetly and as soon as it starts to miss shut it off and stop it as fast as you can.. pull plugs and check piston wash and plug color
i think you are running a high ethanol blended fuel and at higher rpms it is detonating because of preignition.
or it is indeed the engine hitting the rev limiter
or there is a place on the sled that a air leak is affecting the sled
this is very dangerous .. be very careful. this may burn engine down.

It might be as simple as loose boots on the spart plugs.... or a loose wire leading to the boot. The plugs are in tight enough to ground out properly?

Ya what she said...also clean out the carbon build up in the spark plug boot, it seems to build up in there very fast and can cause a problem.:p

My 07 would miss/stutter at times recently. I had installed a prefilter on the air box intake above the clutch guard to keep out belt dust, but this messed with DPM. Gave it false pressure differential because it would suck the prefilter in, and with the hose going to the air box on the left door, cause it to be to rich, and misfire. Pulled off prefilter, and walla, things were all good. Check all DPM hoses for cracks, ice, other crap in them. It may not be correctly compensating, and over/under fueling. Make sure your DPM is working, a momentary rich fuel system could cause this. Does it stutter if you are giving it throttle near wide open and then let off and back on?

What about clutches, you may not be over reving, but when was clutch cleaned, inspected for wear? If you have a bad ramp, with a small ridge in only one, or a sticky roller, flattened roller, bad bushing, something that won't allow it to shift properly, could seem like a misfire/stutter.
