04 bomby 400 HO

A fellow wants to trade me his 400 HO for my 06 summit (I have my summit listed for 4500obo right now) don't really know much about these quads so thought id ask my fellow s&m'ers

"it's a 2004 400HO. Puts it in the 500/600CC class. 2500 kms 1000$ worth of work, winch, and adjustable suspension with extra rims and tires. just got re wired and a new ignition. all fluids changed. carb cleaned."

Thats the info the seller gave me on it. Anyone on here have these quads? I have done a bit of research, I dont like that its carbed but I do like that it is shaft drive

It's actually in the 400cc class. Lol they are a little under powered. My wife put 4000 Kms on hers with little problems. I think that was a 2007. Sold it for $3500. It was in good shape with lots of extras.

I picked up my daughters for $3k it had 8000km on they are good quad I have had to do a few little maintance things to it. Also if it is an 04 it will be 400cc I find myself riding it more then the rhino good little bike. That being said I would be wanting cash on top of a trade or no deal. Jmo

I would pass. You could look at adding cash and getting a real nice quad. Here is one on here to give you an idea.
