Does a 04 800HO head fit on a 07 800R? and will the 800HO head give my 800R more compression ratio?

I am looking to see if I can find a HO head, cause it gives the 800R a 13:1 compression ratio. If I cant find on then I am gonna get my stock one shaved.

Shave Ur stock head. There is no mounting spot for the knock sensor

What kinda mods do you recommened that I do to my sled? I would like to increase my horse power. I am planning on vforce reeds and shaving my head to either 13:1 or 14:1. I know that i might have to run a hight octane fuel but thats ok.

maybe talk to a sled builder before ya go nuts, sounds like you need a lot of knowledge. you will learn what works and what don't, the easy or the hard way, hardway = lots of cash. lots of sled builders on the site, i'd suggest ya give one a call or start reading old posts on yer sled. i'd suggest having a plan before ya start, so ya know where you are going. hard to make varous parts work without alot of experience. good luck looks like ya need it.
