2. The warranty process, aka "start a case file" with Doo somewhat resembles a criminal record background check combined with the bureaucracy and efficiency of a large government agency.
This isn't a rant or soapbox thing, it just makes one think, "why would a company do this to it's loyal customers?"

skidoo has always been leading the industry in development. in 2008 and 2017 there were SOME issues. remember the only sleds that have issues your going to hear about that on the internet. no one will say how flawless their machine runs.

if you think the new wobble cat or polaris 839 aren't going to have issues your sadly mistaken.

first direct injected engine? While not the first direct injection, Polaris beat Doo by how many years with the '91 Indy EFI? Then Cat

first mountain specific skidframe? Still awaiting a mountain specific Doo chassis but they make nice trail machines.

skidoo has always been leading the industry in development. in 2008 and 2017, and dont forget 2004-2008 SDI's, there were SOME issues. remember the only sleds that have issues your going to hear about that on the internet but the internet didn't exist in 2004. no one will say how flawless their machine runs, well, unless you ride a new Polaris or Cat.

I know your posts are often to stir the pot and generate some laughs, but you couldnt be more bang on with this. My last 20 sleds (at least) have been doos and if I buy another one I am gonna take a serious look at the new cats. Just tired of skidoos BS. And I dont think the problems people are having are the issue....its the way that doo deals with it in the typical BS doo way. Deny, deny, deny. Just stand behind your customers! If a sled has blown 3 belts in the first xxx kms, its not your customers fault! Pay for the damn belts and get the sled to stop doing it! Just acknowledge that with innovation comes some bugs and do the best to stand behind the people dishing out 20k of their hard earned money for these things. The potential issues of the G4 doesnt make me hesitant to buy one......its knowing that there is a good chance of being hung out to dry by doo if I did have issues that does.

Seems as if back east is buying summits for trail riding and off trail use. There was never a mtn specific chassis.

Seeing pics of 174’s back home being rode on trails I rode with a 121 1/2” 20 years ago, is humorous to me.

I'll never say never, however in motocross I've move from Team red for many years to team blue and never been happier. This season will be interesting due to the Poo 850 and the Alpha. Looking forward to seeing the other brands turn out in numbers finally.
