Albertan's don't have to pay tickets issued in BC, they will send you reminders in the mail for a couple of years and then give up. I think they fall off the record after a few years.
I have sent them many emails but I guess they do not care. Site is useless use Kijiji instead. My rule is if there is no phone number I do not respond.
Go to CTV.ca as there is an interesting interview with CMH. He said that they have had 10 fatalities in there 46 year history and had taken over 140 thousand people skiing.

While I agree we may be paying more that we should for products in Canada there may be a few reasons people may not be thinking about:
-average salaries higher in Canada than US, some trades people make as low as $15.00 per hour in the USA while Canada $30-$40 per hour.
-raw material prices...
I have been Cross Country Skiing there for about 5 years now and they stopped snowmobiling their before that. My guess is that the snowmobilers went off the designated areas. One the weekend there are a lot of skiers, walkers and people riding horses on the trails and snowmobilers would not mix...
