Engine mounts broken will do it for sure. I have 2002 rmk 800 and blew belts at WOT until I changed out broken motor mounts. No more issues. I use slp torque limiters also but this does not fix broken engine mounts.:o
I believe the main jets are 500's both sides based on my base elevation (2k feet). Almond primary spring and I found using 10-62 gram weights just a bit to heavy for above 8K feet so switched to 10-60 weights and the revs were good.
On paper it seems the Polaris 800 engine has been the lowest Hp engine for some time now. When comparing to Cat and Doo 800 SDI engines (same class) that is.
Today I went riding with some friends and of the 800 cc engines there were 2 Renegades, 1 MXZ, 1 Dragon switchback, and 1 Crossfire and...
I used this 2 part epoxy. Comes with both parts in tube with mixing nozzles. You need a caulking gun to dispense. You can get it in different curing times. Just roughen the surface and dispense glue.
Have you resolved the jetting issue? I have the same year sled with SLP pipe and the ATACC and it works just fine. My base elev is 2000 ft and I ride the sled to 9500 ft. I can give you jetting for stock or with the SLP pipe if you still need it.
X2. Love every detail. I have 3 year old Adrenalines. Light, not bulky, always dry, tough, and very comfortable. What else is there. If motor fist is considered better then I say wow as these Klims are over the top as far as I am concerned. If my Klims ever wear out I may consider the motorfist...
Regina area got blasted with a snow storm for 2.5 days. 18" of power snow. Been out late Saturday at night and could not continue as the snow piles over the top of the sled if you are not hauling er. Covers the headlights and you are in the dark. Fantastic. No base but with 18" you do not hit...
teeroy thanks for your clarification and you are correct. I spend alot of time on a number of forums and SW is one of them that ticks me. I think the fee is unjustifed there and want to know why a site like S&M (which I like except for inconsiderate and rude individuals who cannot control their...
Other forums charge to access their forums. I think this is just a money grab. I know it costs money to operate but that is why advertising exists. How does this forum avoid this (or is it that this forum is not based on greed)? Someone from the main office explain this to me please.
I have used this oil for years. Top quality all the way. I have never had a engine issue as a result of oil quality. I get a 6 month membership with Amsoil, buy a few cases of interceptor oil (friends help increase the quantity of the order) and I save a pile. Time to do it again. Exhaust valves...
I will take a syncronous belt any day over a chain.
1 no parts to build the drive (no links and no pins) that fail when a link breaks or a pin shears.
2 no oil (no maint)
3 syncronous drive belts can take shock loads far better than hardened chain parts that just break.
4 more efficient drive...
Belt needs a tensioner?
1 Polaris messed up and forgot the tensioner or
2 Polaris pays their engineers to know if a tensioner is necessary and include it or not.
This point has been beat up by many a keyboard engineer and I suppose many more will think point 1 has occured.
I should explain better (sorry). The aircraft designs take away from stability and require complex computer systems to deal with the stability issues. The pilots may not see this as the computers deal with it. At least this is what I am made to believe from documentaries I have seen on stealth...
The part I highlighted is something I have never heard before with a Pro. I keep hearing just the opposite about how they are telepathic and take very little effort to go where you want them too. I ride a 2012 Poo and this is the part that I appreciate the most. Did you actually ride a Pro??
