this is about the same issue im having with my 02 700. will not hit top rpm. i know my expansion chamber has a pin hole leak or two. i would be very interested in seeing where to get new parts!
so took the sled i just bought out, and had a few issues...
1. threw a chunk of track. anyone know where to purchase a good track?
2. it would not rev above 6k. seemed to be leaned out. thinking maybe jetting? thoughts?
3. and lastly lol the speedo does not work but i noticed the tach was...
so found out last night on the trail, that our new rev has a leak...i was just wondering, if the head gaskets are common for leaks and also where the hoses run? first time digging into a skidoo so i am just looking for a point in the right direction!
i also just poured a little gas right into the intake, fired right up first pull...if i remove the air box, that should give a clear view of most all of the fuel line right? sorry for all the questions, just have not worked on a carb setup in ages and not sure where everything is on these sleds...
i love the seat on my rev. let me know how it goes!! as for mods, it has a high comp head already and some sort of loud ass can lol. as for riding, it will be a mostly trail rider so i am not to worried about a longer track
so i just picked up an 02 zx 700 144". and i was wondering what kinda parts aftermarket there is for these? i need a new hood, and seat to start out. any ideas? can someone point me in the right direction? :)
I am looking at a zx tonight to purchase. however, I am not all to farmiliar with the zx frame. it is an 02 700 144". I was just wondering if there are and issues I should keep my eyes out for on these? thanks in advance!
hey all, so i am completely new here and also to ski-doo. so please be gentle! but here's the story. i just bought the 2004 summit 800 151" rev, and there were a few small issues.
1- it is a pita to start cold...we are talking 20 to 30 pulls. (choke up, NOI plug on, run button pulled out)
2-...
its been light in the lower elevs. but got a huge storm last weekend. have not been up to the high country as of yet this year sadly...but my friend said there is a good amount of the white up there. we will see! going up probably this or next weekend!
Hey all, i just joined and thought i would say hi! long time rider, but i just purchased my first sled. hope to enjoy the board and people as much as the sport!
