Yeah it's a part of snowmobiling you hit snow drifts.. I didn't hit a brick wall.. I wanted warranty because of a failed product that should not of failed. Especially since the rest of the sled was in mint condition. And trust me buddy if I could just fix it and carry on I would. But the parts...
The carbon fibre tubes are on back order until the end of the month and the aluminum ones are back ordered also. Yet Polaris has never heard of any tubes break. Then why are so many people needing new tubes! Haha junk
They were not sure if the aluminum would fit directly in. Do you know for sure everything would work? There was some mounts at the bottom that held wires and stuff that was different on the 2012 setup. And they told me that I am for sure paying it outta my pocket because Polaris told them no.
I wish thts how it went for me! No single sign of damage any where on the sled nothing else bent no dents anything. But when the mechanic at my dealer was on the phone with Polaris they flat out said NO warranty on that peice for any customer because they could only break from abuse or hitting...
The holes in mine were drilled because they have a little plastic rivet that holds a wiring harness that goes there. It's simply retarded. I would like to know who else had there's crack? Polaris says they have heard of a couple but will not warranty because they should not break. Yet when they...
Well my dealership is being no use as usual says Polaris won't warranty it end of story. Seems pretty lame to me! The carbon tube snapped right where Polaris has a hole drilled in it. Probably for a wiring harness or something who knows. But that's definitely the weak link!
I have 160 miles on my 13 pro 800. I went out riding and was hitting a drift. I am no professional but it was a decent drift. After a while my QD belt blew and so I thought great brought it to the dealer to get a new one. Upon inspection both carbon fiber frame tubes in the engine compartment...
Have 150 miles on my 2013 pro and just blew the belt. Did the first 100 miles taking it fairly easy doing nothing crazy. Didnt help I guess. Also the whole idea of being able to ride the sled with no cogs on the belt! hahaha thats good for a luagh it will make a whistling sound as your jackshaft...
I am wondering how nervous a guy should be about his drive belt grenadine on him. Have many people had issues with teeth stripping off the belt or are the belt failures few and far between? Is it something most guys carry a spare of? Any input appreciated. Thanks
OK. I ordered one thinking it would come in sets and i only got one clamp so now i ordered another one but it will be the new design see how it goes i guess. thanks
